The World Of Twist

Whilst perusing the internet last night I came across this great picture…

…and it instantly reminded me of The World Of Twist. This is because it was used in homage on the cover of their “Sons of the Stage” single:

The World Of Twist were formed in the Madchester era, but distinguished themselves from their baggy rivals by having more than one foot in the sixties. Never a retro band, but one that took that outlook and sound into new areas. Live they were a happening, here they are on record “Sons of the Stage”…
